ISME Membership

The Society is supported by membership. As of February 2023, membership of ISME stands at over 1,300 individual members and 49 institutional members from 94 countries/regions. Anyone is welcome to join ISME. Your membership and contributions will support ISME’s mangrove conservation activities.

How to join

ISME's fiscal year starts from April, and ends the following March. Payments received before 31 October would be acknowledged as membership of the ongoing fiscal year, and payments received after 1 November would be acknowledged as membership for the following fiscal year, unless otherwise specified.

Please download the application form, tick appropriate brackets, fill in the blanks, and send to ISME Secretariat by post together with your payment.

Method of Payment is as follows:

International Postal Money Order (Please make it payable to International Society for Mangrove Ecosystems) or Credit card (Visa, MasterCard)

Please do not e-mail your card information. Please mail or fax application form to ISME Secretariat.

Step 3

After receiving your form and payment, we will send you membership card, receipt and latest issue of ISME Newsletter.
